the Exploratory Workshop

The planning for successful academic and research career in the legal field  

The objective of the workshop

The objective of the workshop is to provide of researchers in law at the beginning of career (PhD students or young people who follows postdoctoral studies, young persons under entry positions in higher education - assistants, lecturers etc.) or who want a scientific career (students, postgraduate students) information and opportunities to help in the planning for successful academic and research career in the legal field. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with renowned scholars of international standing and with fellow early career researchers. The workshop will provide a platform for discussion of research ideas and issues.

Eligible participants

  • Students, postgraduate students who are interested in a career in scientific research in a university or on their own (freelancer)

  • PhD students in juridical sciences

  • Postdoctoral students in juridical sciences

  • Young persons under entry positions in higher education - assistants, lecturers etc.

Participants can register a paper at the workshop or attend in debates, without register a scientific paper.

It is necessary that the participants in the workshop to send a short Curriculum Vitae at the email: office@businesslawconference.ro . Curriculum Vitae will include a brief biography, indicating affiliation University in which the participant is enrolled in doctorate or where he obtained the degree of doctor, directions for teaching and scientific specialization pursued by the participant, list of scientific works considered by participant to be most relevant for his professional achievements.

 

Types of Papers that can be submitted to the workshop:

  • Full Papers. Papers which treating in detail and fully a subject in 7-15 pages. Download here the template for scientific papers
  • Short Papers. Papers which presenting a topic briefly in 4-7 pages, indicating the research results and possible future directions of scientific analysis. Download here the template for scientific papers.
  • Experimental Junior Papers. Papers for 4-7 pages by which the authors seek to obtain the advised viewpoints of specialists in juridical sciences. Through recommendations and guidance on potential research directions and methods will encourage the work of young researchers and their motivation to pursue a career in academic scientific research.   • Posters. Communications may be presented as posters (maximum 6 pages) that presents projects, programs and research grants, graphs, charts, surveys commented, juridical research etc. Poster models can be downloaded from here

Free participation

Participation in the Workshop is free for those who have registered at the Conference, in limited places available.

Prizes 

The best scientific papers presented during the conference and the workshop will be awarded. Prizes will consist of money, books, and other products of juridical field which will be provided by the organizers together with the partners and sponsors of the Conference.

  • Modern techniques of teaching for juridical sciences. E-learning. Case Studies

  • Presentation of projects / research grants in the legal field

  • Research methods in juridical sciences

  • Modern Approaches and Prospects of development in the sources of law

  • Recent developments and prospects for development in the juridical institutions of public and private law

  • Recent developments and prospects of development of European Union law and international law

  • Presenting of excerpts from PhD thesis project

Ø  October 20, 2013: submitting the registration form and Curriculum Vitae at the email: office@businesslawconference.ro. The registration form can be completed either with title and abstract of scientific paper which will be registered at the Workshop or with the option to attend the debate, without recording a scientific paper. Ø  October 27, 2013: confirmation of the scientific papers to be presented at the Workshop.
